My FIRST Cheesecake!

I have finally done something I’ve been planning to make since forever and a day, CHEESECAKE! Followed Juniors cookbook for the recipe.

I didn’t measure out how much water I needed during the baking stage and when it cooled, the cheesecake did crack in the middle. But it turned out not only edible, but delicious! A first attempt that’s gone right is good in my books.

Cheeky Sandwiches

School is getting pretty intense right now but of course, I have to make a food stop. This week is Cheeky Sandwiches

Their chicken sandwich is so good. Satisfying and flavorful and the chicken is the right kind of crispy. And I have been craving for good biscuit textures, where you bite into it and the slightly crunchy outside and the just right insides and, yea. Beyond this biscuit, I’ve only eaten one perfect biscuit and it’s probably not even that great anymore (been a couple of years since I’ve gone back), sigh.

The pork wasn’t a favorite. Maybe it was just this particular slice of apple, but it overwhelmed the entire sandwich to the point of not tasting the pork or the onions or the mustard, just tasted the sour apple slice.

And Ben-Yay’s which was sugary sweet and powdery, doughy spheres of delicious.

Their menu has several other sandwiches which means a second visit will be mandatory.
